Hi, I’m Katie — and here’s a little about me (outside of being a Colorado elopement photographer).
I grew up in the snowy paradise of Steamboat Springs, where skiing wasn’t just a winter hobby — it was part of life. That love for the outdoors stuck with me, and now I get to blend it with something else I love deeply: capturing love stories in wild, beautiful places.
I’ve been a photographer for over 10 years, and while I started with just about everything (families, seniors, big weddings), my heart kept pulling me toward the couples who wanted something different. The ones who wanted to ditch tradition, run into the mountains, say their vows with the wind in their hair and dirt on their boots. Now, I work exclusively with couples planning adventurous elopements — and I truly believe it’s the most meaningful way to get married.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me at home with my little family: my husband, our baby, and our very sweet (and slightly chaotic) dog. We’re big fans of the simple stuff — patio hangouts, slow mornings with good coffee, and date nights trying the newest restaurant in town.
I’m not just here to take pretty pictures. I’m here to make sure your day feels true to you — relaxed, unforgettable, and full of intention. Whether that’s hiking to an alpine lake or just finding a quiet spot with epic views, I’ll help you create a day that feels like you and document it honestly.
