I love a good surprise, especially as a Colorado elopement photographer who doesn’t get surprised often! I’ve seen a little bit of everything as a photographer. When clients reach out to me and ask me to capture their surprise adventure proposal, it’s one of my favorite things. I love being in on the surprise! Amanda and Eden’s surprise proposal was one of the most fun proposals I’ve participated in. It was an absolute blast!

Surrounded by Love

Amanda and Eden were out with friends for photos in the most beautiful spot. We were taking couples portraits and capturing their incredible friend group. When it came time for Amanda and Eden’s couple portraits, it was more than just photos. Seeing her get down on one knee to propose was such a fun surprise! The look on everyone’s faces was so sincere and filled with such happiness for the cute couple. It was time to celebrate once she said yes and was officially engaged!

Poppin’ Bottles – Surprise Adventure Proposal

After the proposal was official, the couple shared a drink and popped their beer bottles to mimic a champagne pop. It was epic! Proposals are always so special; they’re the beginning of a new chapter. This one was even more special as Amanda and Eden were surrounded by their closest friends to celebrate. Having the people you love most alongside makes the event that much more special.
